Little Wonders Soft Play Rental Agreement
1. Booking & Payment
A non-refundable booking deposit of $100.00 is required to reserve the event date.
The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the event date.
Bookings made within 14 days of the event require payment in full at the time of booking.
Failure to pay the remaining balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking without refund of the booking deposit.
2. Delivery & Setup
The Company will deliver, assemble, and dismantle the rental equipment.
The Client agrees to provide:
Adequate access for delivery.
A clean, level setup area.
Sufficient space for the selected package.
A safe environment free from hazards.
If the Company determines the location is unsafe, setup may be refused without refund.
3. Supervision
The Company does not provide attendants or childcare.
The Client is solely responsible for supervising all children using the equipment.
Children must never be left unattended.
Adults are responsible for ensuring children use the equipment safely and appropriately.
4. Safety Rules
The Client agrees to enforce the following rules:
Shoes must be removed before entering the play area.
Socks are required.
No food, drinks, candy, or gum inside the play area.
No face paint, slime, glitter, markers, paint, or sharp objects.
No pets on or near the equipment.
No rough play, climbing on walls, jumping from equipment, pushing, wrestling, or flipping.
Children should be grouped with others of similar size and age whenever possible.
Equipment is intended for children only unless otherwise specified.
Manufacturer age and weight limits must be followed.
5. Outdoor Events
Outdoor setups are subject to weather and suitable ground conditions.
The Client is responsible for providing a level surface free from rocks, mud, standing water, excessive slopes, animal waste, and debris.
The Company reserves the right to cancel or remove equipment if weather conditions become unsafe, including but not limited to rain, high winds, lightning, smoke, or extreme heat.
No refunds will be issued for weather-related cancellations occurring after setup has begun but one reschedule may be permitted, subject to availability.
6. Equipment Care
The Client agrees that equipment will not be:
Moved after setup.
Used by pets.
Used with water.
Used with confetti, glitter, sand, mud, or similar materials.
Used while smoking or vaping nearby.
The Client is responsible for any damage occurring during the rental period.
7. Cleaning
Equipment should be returned in reasonably clean condition.
Normal cleaning is included.
Additional cleaning fees may apply for excessive dirt, food, bodily fluids, stains, or prohibited materials.
8. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Booking deposits are non-refundable.
If the Client cancels:
More than 30 days before the event: payments beyond the booking deposit will be refunded.
Within 30 days of the event: no refunds will be issued.
One reschedule may be permitted, subject to availability, if requested at least 14 days before the event.
9. Photography
The Company may photograph the equipment after setup for marketing purposes, provided no identifiable guests are photographed without permission.
The Client may opt out by notifying the Company before the event.
10. Assumption of Risk
The Client understands that play equipment carries inherent risks of injury.
The Client voluntarily assumes all risks associated with the use of the rented equipment.
11. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Client agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Little Wonders Play, its owners, employees, contractors, and representatives from any claims, damages, injuries, losses, costs, or legal expenses arising from the use or misuse of the rental equipment, except where caused by the Company’s negligence or willful misconduct.
14. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada.
Client Acknowledgement
By booking, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to all terms and conditions of this Agreement.
